Over the weekend I finally edited a months worth of pictures. I think I need to be more diligent in editing them as we take them.

The Great Louisiana Birdfest

On Saturday the 16th I took part in a nature photoshoot with the Louisiana Birdfest. We went to the Pine Island Rookery just west of Madisonville, and spent a couple of hours taking pictures. I was lucky enough to get to use a 600mm lens for some of that. Some pictures I took with that lens can be found at: http://hfwilke1.blogspot.com. I will also add some landscapes taken that day after I have had time to process them.

I do have some new pictures of Emma, but have not gotten a chance to process them yet. I will post them as soon as I have a chance.

Ok, so I take a lot of pictures....

I don't think she's quite ready to walk, but she didn't seem to mind the exercise. She has also been enjoying the Hoopy Loopy Cow, a gift from my friend JoAnn Adams.
