Mid August - Mid September

Here's another month's worth of pictures. The big Milestone was Emma's first haircut. She did such a great job. She is very patient. Other than that, there are a lot of pictures of daily life with Emma. A bunch of them where she asked us to take a picture of her doing something.

Now I am only a month behind. Not too bad. The next batch will include pictures from our vacation to Orange beach. I hope to have them up soon.

Everyday Activities, August 19, 2007

Emma often asks us to take pictures of the everyday things she does. So here are a few.

Emma tipping up her cup to get that last drop of milk.

She loves to brush her teeth.

Emma does a very good job of remembering to spit out the toothpaste.
We've moved up to Kid's Crest, which is like regular toothpaste, but with a little less fluoride. We were using a toddler paste, which is safe to swallow.

Emma loves to jump in her bed, or really anywhere as I'm sure ya'll have guessed. She gets some air!

A headstand! She's doing most of it herself, but she can't keep her feet up long enough for a photo by herself.



This is her beloved Teddy.
The fishy bubble machine is also very important for sleeping. :-)

Good Morning. August 24, 2007

Emma requested, "Picture of Emma in bed?" before Susan even got in her room on this morning; so here they are. Oops, caught a yawn.

The First Haircut! August 30, 2007

Well, Emma's hair was finally long enough to need a trim.
Diana Rohr did the honors.
Emma is getting her hair sprayed with a water bottle, "like we do to the plants," Emma said.

Diana was so careful to not take off too much.
She asked Susan every time to make sure a little more was O.K.
Emma did a fabulous job. She sat on her purple seat to raise her up a bit, and stayed very still. She liked all the clips holding up her hair, but really wanted to be done so she could pat Monty.

He was so sweet to lay there and let Emma pet him.

Mid July - Mid August

Sorry for the delay. I got some more pictures posted last night. I'm through the middle of August now. I have a bunch more to do. Hopefully, I will get them up soon.

Life goes by so quickly these days. It's amazing.
